GLP-1 Protein Berry Smoothie (25g Protein)
When chewing a full meal feels like a chore, a smoothie can be the easiest way to land real protein. This one blends thick and cold, sits gently on a queasy stomach, and gives you about 25g of protein in a glass you can sip slowly.

Ingredients
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
- 120g (½ cup) plain Greek yogurt
- 80g (½ cup) frozen mixed berries
- 150ml (⅔ cup) milk or unsweetened almond milk
- ½ small banana (optional, for sweetness)
- A few ice cubes
Method
- 1Add the milk, yogurt and protein powder to a blender first so the powder does not clump.
- 2Add the berries, banana and ice.
- 3Blend until completely smooth, adding a splash more milk if it is too thick.
- 4Pour into a tall glass and sip slowly over 10–15 minutes.
Tips for GLP-1 appetites
- Serve cold — chilled, mild drinks are often the easiest thing to keep down on a nausea day.
- Sipping slowly avoids the early fullness and discomfort that gulping a large drink can cause on GLP-1 medication.
- No protein powder? Swap in an extra ½ cup of Greek yogurt and a tablespoon of nut butter.
